Grant-Making in the Diocese of Virginia
Your gift, combined with the gifts of others, will fund competitive grants known to our churches as the Mustard Seed Grant, the Human Need Grant and the World Mission Grant. These grants help our churches support the five mission and ministry priorities of the Diocese of Virginia: youth and young adult ministry; strengthening our congregations; evangelism and proclamation; mission beyond ourselves; and multicultural and ethnic ministries.

Diocese of Virginia Unrestricted Gift
By making an unrestricted gift to the Diocese of Virginia, you are supporting the everyday mission and ministry that make this Diocese thrive. You might help fund a mission trip or provide resources for our bishops and staff.

Shrine Mont Camps Scholarships
Donations to the Shrine Mont Camps Scholarship will help send deserving children to the diocesan summer camps in Orkney Springs, Va. From music and drama to soccer, Shrine Mont Camps offer something for everyone. And for many youth, Shrine Mont is the place where they grow and nurture their relationship with God. By funding the scholarship program, you can contribute to this unique experience.

Bishop Jones Evangelism Fund
The Bishop David C. Jones Evangelism Fund, established to honor the ministry of the Rt. Rev. David C. Jones, bishop suffragan of Virginia from 1995-2012, will provide support to small congregations seeking to implement new initiatives in their parishes or communities. The intent of the one-time grants awarded through the Fund is to help smaller congregations fuel creative ideas and programs that will promote new growth and foster evangelism. The Fund will be administered by the Committee on Congregational Missions, although all small churches are eligible (not just mission churches). Grants will be awarded at Annual Council. Specific details on requirements will be made available in 2012.
