Support Our Ministries
“Diocese” is not an archaic word for a piece of church bureaucracy. It’s a living, breathing community of faith that draws from its history. and traditions, its diversity and common liturgical language, in ways that enrich our ministries and invite others to join us.
Each donation or gift allows you to help us build this community through your gifts of support for:
The Mustard Seed Grant Fund
Within our community of faith, each of us has the opportunity to live out our Baptismal Covenant--to seek and serve Christ in all persons.
Your gift to the Mustard Seed Grant Fund and helps us support this remarkable program.

Each year since 2002, the Diocese of Virginia has awarded grants to assist with a broad range of ministries, both here at home and throughout the world. These vital programs depend on your gifts, which come from God’s bounty, to empower ministries, transform lives and strengthen the work of our congregations.
The Mustard Seed Grant Fund supports youth and college ministries, local outreach, world mission, and strengthening local churches. All of our churches, regions and college chaplaincies are eligible for this competitive grant, which works to strengthen these ministries within the Diocese of Virginia. Check out additional information on diocesan funded grants.
Shrine Mont Camps
Camp Scholarships: These funds help us send youth to camp each summer, and ensure that children from all economic backgrounds can have a life-changing camp experience.
Shout It from the Mountain: Gifts to the Shout It from the Mountain capital campaign for Shrine Mont Camps, shared between the Diocese and Shrine Mont, can be sent to the diocesan office.
