Come and join Noye (Noah), his family, and a cast of animals and musicians as they escape from the great flood that encompasses the earth.

This colorful, Biblically-inspired opera is based on an early 15th century mystery play, but written for today’s audiences—including opportunities to join in song. The story centers around Noye (played by baritone John Bitsas), Mrs. Noye (played by Jenna Anderson), and his family as God commands them to build the ark. The sometimes recalcitrant Mrs. Noye adds a few complications along the way. The shippe (as it is spelled in the play) is filled with animals and Noye's family as they navigate the flood, eventually finding dry land. The cast involves members of our choirs, preschools, music students, and members of the community.

Tickets will be available at the door for $10/person, $5/student, or a family/group (more than 10 people) maximum of $100. To further our ministry with Welborne Church’s Food Pantry, a $2 per can discount is available if you bring canned goods to donate (at the door only).
