- The Everyday Environmentalist - More Ways to be Green
- Theologian to Lecture on the Bible and the Environment: Distinguished Duke University theology professor Ellen Davis will give the third annual Martha J. Horne Lecture at St. Paul's, Alexandria on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the nave. Entitled "The Land I Will Remember: An Agrarian Reading of the Bible," the lecture is taken from Dr. Davis' latest book, which integrates biblical studis with a critique of industrial agriculture and food production. All are welcome. St. Paul's is located at 228 South Pitt Street in the Old Town section of Alexandria, and there is free parking in the courthouse garage in the 100 block of South Pitt.
