As children of God we have been given the gift we of faith in a loving God who creates, redeems and sustains the world.

As inheritors of the gift we are called to share it in the context of a Christian community where our gifts may be used to bring new life to our families, friends and community.

Our focus is on evangelism and we believe that the mission of the church unites the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. The most effective method of evangelism is planting new churches who will in turn plant new churches.

Because this work is new we embrace risk and the necessity to think and act creatively as we pursue God’s call to plant new congregations. Grounded in Holy Scripture and enriched by our tradition, we enthusiastically embrace new methods of communicating the good news of the Gospel to a changing world.

We value a willingness to explore and implement innovative means of planting new churches and we seek evangelistic leaders who are builders.

We must use all of our gifts, the best materials available and be people of prayer who seek to do the Lord’s will.

• Stewardship and Promotion of the Vision of Church Planting locally and globally
• Oversight and Direction of the Ministry of Church Planting throughout the Diocese
• Assurance of the Quality of Ministry of all new churches
• Establish evaluation criteria for ministry success
