The Executive Board of the Diocese of Virginia

The Executive Board is the body which carries out the actions voted upon by the Council. It oversees the budget and program adopted by the Annual Council and submits a new budget to Council the following year.

The Executive Board is composed as follows:

Each Region elects one member to serve three years on the Board, alternating between clergy and laity.

The Bishop is President of the Executive Board; the Board elects a lay member as Vice President.

The Bishop appoints, subject to the approval of the Board, a Coordinator of the Executive Board.

The Executive Board may adopt by-laws in keeping with diocesan canons.
