Conversations on Race and Faith: The Sacred Ground Curriculum

8 weekly sessions via Zoom

The Ministry for Racial Justice and Healing of the Diocese of Virginia invites you to learn about the history of race and racism in America and the impact it has on our world today, while engaging in meaningful conversation through the Episcopal Church’s Sacred Ground curriculum.

For each session, participants will watch documentaries and read articles to help inform and enlighten them. They will then gather on Zoom for conversation to help them peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day – all while grounded in our call to faith, hope and love.

There are two time options for joining this class: Sundays from 1:30-3 p.m. or Tuesdays from 7:30-9 p.m. Each session will take place every  week for a total of 8 sessions. This course is open to any person who would like to participate. Learn more and register.
