The Outreach and Adult Spiritual Formation Ministry Teams invite you to an informative and engaing presentaion and potluck.

Matthew 25 reminds us that when we welcome "the least of these" we welcome Jesus. EEC's refugee family ministry, along with Christ Church, works w/ Episcopal Migration Ministries. EMM's Alison Duvall will lead a faith-based conversation, connecting Jesus' call to welcome the stranger to both the church's history and the challenges of the present day. Allison will be joined by Rushad Thomas, the Episcopal Church's refugee and immigration policy adviser. Over a yummy potluck supper, we will listen to a timely talk followed by a lively discussion, respectful of the viewpoints of all.

Simultanerously the "Leaves of Love: Refugee Family Fundraiser" will run through the month of March. Pick a leaf from the clothesline along with an envelope. Enclose a donation (a dollar or a hundred dollars!) to support the combined work of EMM, Christ Church Refugee Ministry, and Emmanuel's support of the Latifi family. Proceeds finance direct assistance, as well as, education and advocacy.

The "Leaf of Love" will be your "ticket" to the the event.

Sign up to bring soup, bread, or fruit. Family friends and neighbors welcome. Art materials will be available for younger folks.

RSVP so there is room for everyone at the table! Click here to register or contact Joani Peacock at celticjlp@gmail.com.
