Spring Digital Photography

Shrine Mont

Want to find out what Resolution, and Mega Pixels are all about and learn to speak the digital lingo? In this class, you will learn how to

  • use your digital camera more effectively,
  • review the fundamentals of image capture and camera operation, proper exposure
  • how to use your flash

Every day, assignments will allow you to explore the Shrine Mont environment photographically, and then share images in class to help you troubleshoot and develop a creative eye.

Students are expected to provide a digital camera with manual adjustments, (a on top with P,A,S or Tv, M settings). Make sure to bring the camera’s manual and an external storage device of at least 4 gigabytes to take home your images. Your own laptop would be helpful, but is not necessary.

Also available - a special half day seminar on May 4 on using Adobe Dreamlight software.
