Bishop's Fall Clergy Retreat
10/15/2012 – 10/17/2012Shrine Mont
Download a registration form and return to the Diocese by October 10!
This year’s fall clergy retreat weaves together song, silence, solitude, creative engagement with Scripture, sharing in small groups and sensitivity to signs of God’s Spirit. It provides opportunity for the clergy of this diocese to reflect quietly on their personal lives, their ministries and their relationships with God as they impact one another. It is based on the book Keeping in Tune with God: Listening Hearts Discernment for Clergy by Suzanne Farnham and the Rev. Timothy Grayson, with a foreword by the Rt. Rev. Eugene Sutton.
The leader of the retreat is Suzanne Farnham herself, co-author of this important book. Ms. Farnham is the founding trustee of Listening Hearts Ministries, and served as the executive director for many years. As a member of the Board of Trustees, she serves on both the executive and administrative committees. Ms. Farnham developed the “Listening Hearts,” “Grounded in God” and “Opening the Ear of Your Heart” training programs and continues to design training formats, retreats and workshops based on these programs.
