Lindsay Ryland
Lindsay is the Transition Ministry/Deployment Officer for the Diocese. She joined the diocesan staff in 2001 after taking early retirement as a senior vice president from Bank of America. She works with parishes in search of clergy and clergy in search of new ministries. Lindsay is a member of Immanuel Episcopal Church in Old Church, where she has served on the vestry, as treasurer, chair of a capital campaign, member of the altar guild and choir. Lindsay recently began a knitting ministry, which has expanded to a local continuing care community and a local Methodist church. She is a volunteer reader at the Virginia Voice in Richmond, president of the Hanover County Historical Society and serves as a member of the Mary Baldwin College Richmond Alumnae Chapter steering committee. Lindsay obtained a bachelor’s degree in history from Mary Baldwin College, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Richmond and is a graduate of Education for Ministry. At the national level, she is a member of the Church Deployment Board and serves as a CREDO faculty member.
