Diocesan Missionary Society

The Diocesan Missionary Society (DMS) was established to purchase and receive real estate, to hold and manage property and to develop various programs of support for the extension of the missionary work of the Diocese of Virginia.

Currently, DMS supports our congregations through loans to existing congregations for new construction as well as improvements. Loan rates are typically 6.5% to 7.25%.

In addition, there are investing opportunities where congregations can place deposits in support of DMS' work for 5, 10 or 15 years.  The rates as of May 2011 are 3.0% to 3.5%.  For more information on loans or investing, please contact
