Members of the 211th Annual Council of the Diocese of Virginia

According to the Constitution & Canons of the Diocese of Virginia, membership in the Annual Council is composed of the following:

• All canonically resident clergy
• One lay delegate from each church to be chosen by its vestry. (In some cases, a church may be entitled to more than one delegate depending on the number of Confirmed Communicants in Good Standing.)
• The Lay Members Ex Officio
• The Presidents of the 15 regions
• Lay members of the Executive Board
• Lay members of the Standing Committee
• The Chancellor of the Diocese
• The President of the Episcopal Church Women
• Five lay persons not over the age of 21 at the time of their election elected by five regions on a three-year rotation
